Medway Fun Day, 17th Feb 2008

An excellent fun day out on the Medway.  It gave Bronwyn and Natalie their first taste of a racing in a four.  The boat was very balanced given it they had not practiced as a crew and their time was great given their weight disadvantage with a pregnant cox!  Many thanks to Medway for the invite and loan of a boat.

Erith To Gravesend, 13th April 2008,  Fun event between Erith and Gravesend

Clare, James, Simon, Jason, Fred.  ;  Marc, Mark, Natalie, Alison, Bronwyn.  Times To follow.

The row was thoroughly enjoyed by Erith especially since most crew members have never rowed past the QE2 bridge and some hadn’t been on the Thames at all.  Slight hitch at Greenhithe where Bronwyn was supposed to swap with her granddad but the crew rowed past the rendezvous point - we think it was because Bronwyn noticed her nan was wearing her ‘embarrassing’ orange coat again!  Many thanks to Gravesend for a great day and for their hospitality.
