The club were unable to concentrate on racing in 2007 due to the upheaval involved in moving premises.

Maidstone Scullers Head (Sep 07): Entries- Fred & Simon Vet E 2x, Fred VetG1x, Simon VetD 1x, Jane and Laura WS4 2x, Jane and Bronwyn WS4 2x.  A great day out which included a win for Fred with a time of 14.44 and a first race experience for Bronwyn aged 11 (our youngest competitor) who had to race at senior 4 level with Jane.  Bronwyn s technique was much improved and her stamina was impressive over a long course having only ever practiced on the lake at Danson before.  Jane and Laura christened the new Capita Blades boat but unfortunately Jane steered the boat into the bank twice having never used stroke steering before. Luckily no damage was done!
